Chelsea have been in contact with Napoli throughout the summer to try to negotiate a deal for Nigerian striker Osimhen, with the Italian club keen on signing Romelu Lukaku in exchange. But according to , the 25-year-old is waiting for PSG and is not keen on the idea of joining the west Londoners.

Osimhen is said to be apprehensive about heading to the Premier League as Chelsea will not play in the Champions League this season. The Napoli forward netted 17 goals in 32 appearances for the Serie A side last term, despite the previous champions having a very poor campaign.

All reports suggest that Osimhen is holding up a potential swap deal between Napoli and Chelsea, however it is PSG who have come closest to prising the 35-cap international away. According to the report, Napoli have an asking price of €100 million (£86m/$110m) that must be met for them to consider cutting ties with the goal-scorer.
